This message/symbol

appears…

and means:

A meter error has occurred.

 Press the Test button to turn the me-

ter off and then on again. If the error

message persists, please contact

your local customer support and ser-

vice centre (see Chapter 16 “Local

customer support and service”).

During a data download both arrows fail

to start flashing. The meter turns itself

off after 5 minutes and the PC, hand

held computer or the Accu-Chek Smart

Printer System also displays an error

message.

 A download error occurred.

 Start the download again.

 A strong light source is too close to

the two infrared windows.

 Move away from the light source

and start the download again.



This message/symbol

and means:



 The infrared windows are too far

apart or not properly facing one an

other.

 Reduce the distance between the

two infrared windows to 10-20 cm

and position them so they are fac-

ing one another. Start the download

again.

 A software error occurred on the PC,

handheld computer or the

Accu-Chek Smart Printer System.

 Read the manual for the software or

the Accu-Chek Smart Printer Sys

tem.
