Beeper

Note: Your CoaguChek XS Plus meter can display information visually and alert you to special

circumstances with a beeper. When the beeper is activated, the meter beeps when:

n it is switched on

n it detects a test strip

n warming up of the test strip is complete and you need to apply a sample

n it detects a sample

n the test is completed and the results are displayed (a long beep)

n an error occurs (three short beeps)

n an external power adapter is connected when the meter is on

We recommend that you keep the beeper activated at all times.

You can also activate a key click. When a key click is activated, the meter beeps briefly every

time a button is pressed, facilitating the input of information.
